Projects

  1. ELCT 401 - Electrical Circuits II

Inverting Band Pass Filter Circuit Design

    • Learned about band pass filters, their function, and the design equations for calculating component values.
    • Used circuit simulation software to design the filter and predit its behavior.
    • Built the circuit on a breadboard using resistors, capacitors, and operational amplifier and tested its functionality with an oscilloscope to ensure it passed frequencies within a desired band and attenuated those outside the band.
    • Documented the entire process, including theoretical background, design choices, simulation and hardware results, demonstrating my understanding of the concepts and ability to apply htem in practical setting
  2. CSEN 401 - Computer Programming Lab

Attack on Titan: Utopia - Game

    • Developed a text-based game inspired by Attack on Titan using Java & JavaFX.
    • This project encompassed the entire development lifecycle, from initial design to implementation and testing.
  3. COMM 401 - Signal & System Theory

    Signal Generation and Noise Cancellation

    • Aim: To generate and customize musical signals and implement noise cancellation techniques using Python.
    • Created a custom song by generating signals with selected piano notes.
    • Added random noise to the generated song.
    • Converted signals from the time domain to the frequency domain using FFT.
    • Identified and filtered out noise frequencies from the signal.
    • Visualized and compared signals in both time and frequency domains before and after noise cancellation.
    • Outcome: Successfully generated a clear musical signal and effectively removed noise using frequency domain analysis.
  4. NETW 501 - Communication Networks

    Client-Server Communication and Network Analysis

    • Developed a client-server application using socket programming in Java.
    • Client-server Model: Built a same-network communication system and a bi-directional chat application on different networks.
    • Socket Programming: Implemented concepts like IP address, port number, TCP/IP for network communication.
    • Network Analysis: Utilized Wireshark to capture and analyze network traffic related to the chat application.
    • This project demonstrates proficiency in Java networking, socket programming concepts, and basic network and analysis techniques.
  5. ELCT 201 - Digital Logic Design

    Encryption/Decryption Circuit Design

    • Designed and built a functional circuit using logic gates (NAND Gates) to encrypt and decrypt data.
    • Displayed the encrypted and decrypted values on a 7-segment display.
